About
Hello and welcome to my world. I’m Linda Taylor and I finally have the photography studio of my dreams - almost! I’m currently renovating a very old (circa 1890) 4000 square foot building in Egg Harbor City, NJ. My plans include studio rental space, a full kitchen, workshops and events. But before all of this, I had a long career as a Creative Director and Designer in textile manufacturing but photography has always been at the heart of my creative passion. As a long time lover of the flavor, texture and beauty of food, it was just a natural progression that food started showing up in much of my photography. I love taking cooking classes and exploring new and familiar places with food and travel photography workshops. I have been lucky to learn from some of the most talented photographers on this planet and have created lasting friendships with many creatives that I have met along the road.
My story, and my work, is dedicated to my ancestors, who were daring immigrants and talented makers, and to my very special grandmother Ethel, who could make or do anything with passion and perfection, and to my dad, who left us way to soon, but passed on his love of food and restaurants, and would have loved the vibrant culinary scene (especially the food shows) that we have today.
